But team rivalry is totally a great excuse to act like a fool in public and ruin other people's good time at the ballpark.

Man Jeff was walking up to the Salinas PD and asking them to taze him. I guess all he has to do is go to an A's game and have a couple beers.

best part is that the initial taze didn't do anything. The guy just sits there. Must be the voltage drop over the wire length.

The full contact mode dropped that dude with a quickness though!

Wow! It sure did take a while (a whole week!) for someone to post this. Just in case folks don't know the full details, here's a link...

The nuts & bolts of the incident:

"'There was no indication he was intoxicated, but he had brought alcohol into the Coliseum illegally,' Thomason said.

"When he refused to leave, Coliseum security asked Oakland police officers working the game to eject him. Three officers verbally tried several times to get Bruso to leave, but he refused."
I follow the team and actually went to the final game of that series. As can be expected at venues like this, there are individuals that get outta hand. I couldn't tell which team he was rooting for, but the big guy was sitting on the Rangers side. I guess he's a tA'se fan now, eh?

I noticed the failed 1st attempt, too. Fr the article I linked: "The first attempt to tase him was unsuccessful because one of the probes hit the chair Bruso was in."
