Just do a search for it on the interweb. as far as i know its still the same price. it was only a few months back and i dont think that there is a high demand for race gas so the gas price stays at a steady rate.

no, the 5 gallon metal drums usually run around $45....you are paying for the nice metal can too. The good thing is that then you can take that same can to the pumps next time. Or you can just get an empty can from someone

$45 for 15 gallons would be $3/gallon. If 100 octane was $3/gallon Id be running 100 octane all the time

So is a majority of you all using 76 gas station 100 octane in the bayarea? Cuz I'm getting my gas at shell, premium of course. Is it recommended to get the 100 octane if you only have a bigger turbo or does it matter stock or not? Since it's considered racing fuel. Help me out guys.

theres no point in getting 100 octane unless youre tuned for it. It wont give you more power really...it'll just help clean out your engine.

There are some of us (myself, ShadowSTi) that have custom 100 octane maps for our ECU's. Octane makes the fuel burn cleaner, allowing for more power to be made in the tune (its complex, and I cant really explain all the stuff in the middle).

As for where to buy it....its very rare to find a gas station with 100 octane pumps since its "for off-road use only." pretty much all major race tracks have pumps though.
