It's small... the box may be 10x9... but the sub is only 8" and not worth it... I had one in my legacy and I didn't even notice it was there until the tech replacing my stereo asked me if I wanted him to connect it to the new unit...

If your buddy wants a Subwoofer tell him to just go out and get a real one...

Oh, I didn't even consider he might want the actual speaker size. Dimensions and I just assumed box size.
