Just bought my brz from tommy. He's cool. He bought me Mexican food. Felt like I was talking to a buddy instead of a salesman the whole time.

Is there a fleet guy at that dealership? I only buy from fleet sales, no commission hungry sales people or sales manager to deal with that way.

My mom bought her car through the fleet dude. I was with her for most of the interactions and it was so hassle free. He did not really seem to care if she bought a car or not, he just wanted to make her happy! Did not give any of the bull**** you expect from sales dudes. He had some positive stuff to say about the car and gave some negative input as well. If I ever buy a NEW car I will definitely talk to the fleet dude.

Just hit up Tommy like some people mentioned. He'll help you out regardless, no hassle and no BS. Mention you're on the forums. I don't know if he's on i-club but he's on the other ones.

Yep, every car I have bought in the last 20 years has always been from a fleet person. They don't get paid on commission, they just get a flat rate of $x no mater what the car sells for.

Last one I bought, the Ram 3500, we walked in and talked to the guy. He walks us out and looks at his watch and says "well I got this one and that one over there, I am off for the weekend in a hour. come inside when your ready and find me" and walked off. Walked in, he turns a paper around that has 42,000 on it (sticker was 88,000). The dealer invoice is on that paper, 41,000. So the guy sits my friend Corey down and says "here, write down all the stuff you like on one side of the paper, and all the stuff you don't, we are going to go get coffee"

A hour later, my friend walks OUT THE DOOR for 46,000 tax, license, everything including the first 3 oil changes and a full tank of Diesel on them.
