-1 for capital subaru

I went in to check out the new 08 STi and a salesman there gave me the worst attitude ever. it was the get the hell out of here if you're not buying a car. I guess i was taking up his valuable time of making phone calls. I didn't even want a salesman to bother me but he insisted. It just made me feel like i was at Stevens Creek Subaru. I don't think i'll ever buy a subaru there but i will still go in to buy parts because the service/part guys are nice :P. btw don't buy a car from an old guy named Peter

Haha man, any dealership around here is viewed under a microscope. A salesman f*cks up, EVERYONE here will know about it.

In short, "Don't mess with I-Club".

I had a great experience there doing the same thing. Must have been a bad salesman. Maybe he was mad because Capitol is not getting the 08 for a while..and Stevens Creek alwready sold 2.

You are looking at $46,000 out the door for the 08 with BBS & No GPS. Ouch!!

They have mark-ups.

I stopped by Livermore Subaru today to ask them why my clutch was squeaking. The service man stopped what he was doing, came and looked at my car, went into the shop in the back, took out some grease. Greased the pedal, squeak was gone, explained what why it was doing that and told me how to fix it in the future. They also had 2 08 sti's in there and was BSing with me about them for a few minutes. It seems like a luck of the draw when you go down to a dealership, sometimes they are great, other times they are pathetic.

I just went in to take a look at the STi because someone posted on i-club about having an sti at the dealership and then this guy named Rob (nice guy i must say) asked if i needed help and i told him i didn't but he asked Peter to help me. Peter looked like he didn't want to get out of his cubical office but he didn't have to but i guess Rob forced him. He said something about being on the sales floor... blah blah i forgot but he said it in such a bad manor. His attitude was so unacceptable. I know its just one guy but he just really ticked me off. /rant

I am selling STI pre-orders @ MSRP... no mark up! There are a few good peep out there... not every salesman in on the rag. Some of you customers are no fun either.

July 2003 was + $3-$5K over MSRP. I have seen + $6995 over MSRP on '08 STI's in the NW and they are getting it!

Well..at least it means you can pick up an 06 for a good price now. I don't blame them for selling at MSRP...cuz they will sell them at that. Once the excitment boils down...and more so when they start getting some from auctions...you will get them at a better price.
