as nice as that,no.distance,yes.theres a range in sac thats 1k yards if i remember right.im part of the 800yrd club.

1911's are faster for competition shooting for sure. If that's what you mean by "go with what works". However I doubt there's any 1911 that would take the amount of abuse an HK Mk23 SOCOM will and still keep functioning.

I'll take my 1911 over my HK mod23 anyday.
i shot with my 7mm rem mag.139gr ballistic tips.custom loads.3960fps.3 shots inside a playing card.had hardly any holdover.i love how flat it shoots.
