It would take a heartless cop to pop people outside the gates. I would be stoked to see kids participating if i were a cop.

But I would never let my tires hit a drag strip...i dont want subaru's to be correlated with drag racing if i can help it any

The wednesday night drags can technically be run by stock cars also. you dont need to be modified to run.

And yes, sacramento has done that in the past, post up outside and tow every car.

And dont say its just hondas.

This is from the oakland port races.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4XDNgyR7-g

It's be sooooo funny to watch those cars get owned by small missiles from an AC-130 Gun ship that was flying up above in the sky.

I can see it now, cars take off then all the sudden some missile appears like a flash of light and just takes both cars out at once...

Then they can change it up and perforate the offending cars with 20mm cannon fire. Fully auto.

Of course if most drivers beat the cops on the strip, what do you think they will do on the street!

What do police crown vics do in 0-60 as well as the 1/4? Anyone know?

Also, do cop cars really get more power and different suspension? My friends told me about it but I wasn't sure if I could believe them. They claimed that the cruisers get a HP increase somehow, as well as different suspension setup for better handling. Any of this true?

They are different from a regular Crown Vic for sure. Seems that the power difference may be more due to lower gearing than HP increase. And the butter suspension appears they did more for heavy duty (driving over curbs) than handling, but beefier shocks are going to make it corner better too.
