dang whats up with these cops, they got nothing else to do but to look for people to pull over. I've seen the same cop for days already, same place ,same time on my way to school. Its giving me the chills, makes me not want to put my catless TBE in.

I always see the guy at the intersection of Tully and capital expy. Mostly in front of the Beshoff mercedes place.

if you're going to install any kind of aftermarket DP, make life easy on yourself and weld-on the stock DP's heat shields and some oem-style cat shields, to make it look legit.

Also its a good idea to run a cusco turbo heat shield as it may conceal your DP further.

 

if it's in the morning time...he is probably looking for commuter violators!!

The comment "don't drive like a jackass" or anything else to that affect are rediculous. People think simply if you drive by the rules and don't weave, speed, etc. won't get pulled over for modifications but that is simply not the case. THe first time I was sent to referee I was doing 65 in Cruise Control on the freeway. Cop pulled me over for modified exhaust. It happens whether you drive correctly or like an *******.

 

umm they are doing their jobs


there are three reasons they sit there for days in a row.

1. to catch people breaking the law and cite them.

2. so people see them and slow down and hopefully drive safer.

3. similar to 2 but also so that when they switch to a different spot, they hope you continue to drive slower/more safe in that area because you have seen a police presence there so many times.




funny, i saw this thread title and thought it was going to be about someone getting pulled over for doing something stupid in front of a cop and complaining about it. i was wrong. its someone complaining about cops being on the streets in general. they haven't even done anything to you!

 

i got pulled over once as well for modified exhaust once and received a ticket. i wasn't speeding or doing anything wrong either.

 

so sad... yet so true...
