Dish500 hacking?

Anyone have any experience in hacking dish net?

We have two recievers right now, and I was hoping to add on in my room. Is it possible to add a 3rd reciever withough dishnet knowing about it?

I've seen them do that before. But all they do is mass email some threat to the entire list. They sent me one, and I didn't even have DTV?! Ignored it and nothing happened. I guess they could go after people, but they'd lose more money.

I heard the box coolsat pro 4000 can be used with 2 direct tv dishes for free dish network or you have to buy a dish network dish. I don't use this but I know this works.

yes you can use 2 directv dishes for sats 110 and 119 and works fine......dont be afraid to buy the coolsat's, pansats etc because FTA (free to air) is LEGAL. It however becomes ILLEGAL when you flash the receiver to unscramble dish programming or bev.

Do you need to have some type of cable or something to use this set-up?

I don't want to get channels we haven't subscribed to.

We have a Dish, it's have 4 recievers., 2 are here at the house, 2 are at my uncles, (who also has a dish. We pay 1 bill. kinda shady, but whatever).

I want to add a 5th reciever, for me, in my room. Our plan has 4 recievers, and I just want to know if It'd possible to just get 5th one. Maybe I can add one more for $10/mo. But I thought why not try to just get a reciever from ebay, and then plug it in.

I guess this is much harder...

I have FTA. Pansat reciever... it depends on what you are looking for. I got it mainly for football. I can sit there and pretty much find all the games.

Was it pretty easy for you to locate a good satellite for reception?

you point it south west or east IIRC with an open view (no trees in the way) and check the signal on the tv or just get one of htose tools from ratshack that will beep when you get the correct position
