Dilemma

Basically, I'm faced with the problem of having my license suspended over not paying two speeding tickets and am broke since I'm currently on state disability. Now I have traffic court tomorrow to speak with a judge and now i have ended up with a failure to appear and increased fines. Pretty stupid on my behalf. Now i was wondering what i should say to the judge or how i should go about this situation. Also, I'm trying to include the possibility of going to traffic school 1 and 2 since i got both of these tickets within a month period and both were my first traffic offenses since i was issued my license five years ago. Any feedback or help would be greatly appreciated since i am somewhat lost on how to go about this dilemma.

you can request for reduced fines. you can also attend traffic school on the first one and go to a different type of traffic school on the 2nd ticket as well (i think it's a 12 hour course).

did you not go to court for one ticket today? and you have another one tomorrow?

dress nicely and ask the judge nicely. good luck.

i am definitely no expert on this.

Go ask the judge for leniency, citing that you are sorry for what you have done, and would like to change for the better. See if you can arrange a payment program to pay back your fines. Since you can also let him know you are on state disability, ask him/her if there are resources to help you with financial assistance as well, since working a normal job is not a current option.

Good luck.

Then, sell your car....
