Here's the proof the MR will come to Mitsubishi:
Only 1500 2004 MY Evo will be made to catch up the model year.
Mitsubishi has posted on it's website of the MR's time arrival of September: http://media.mitsubishicars.com/deta...82696&mime=JPG
With the changes to the 2005 Imprezas making the STi more like the true Spec C (having newly retuned suspension, wider wheels and quicker steering rack and new front helical diff and new yaw rate DCCD sensor) as show here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=526885
We should consider ourselves quite lucky. With these quick changes to every year's edition of the Evo and STi, only the consumer wins. Personally, if the STi turns out to be more like the Spec C for the 2005 MY except for weight, STi all the way. However, if the car still doesn't exhibit turn-in like a Spec C, the Evo 8 MR has my name on it.

Next STi will be called something like B10 and have a H6T (with a possible twin turbo). I heard that from a suby dealer that I bought my last 2 subies from. So far he has been accurate with this kind of stuff, but right now it's no more than a rumor. He was right about STi coming out before there was any talk about EVOs coming out. It was very hard to resist the sexy STi, but it will be even harder to resist a V6 powered STi tuned suby. Now I’ll have to sell my car after two years again! Damn it!
