DIE STi? = The MR is US bound

Sad thing is that it really is a time to sell the STi. Not because of MR, but because current STi will be in production for 1 more year. Next STi will be called something like B10 and have a H6T (with a possible twin turbo). I heard that from a suby dealer that I bought my last 2 subies from. So far he has been accurate with this kind of stuff, but right now it's no more than a rumor. He was right about STi coming out before there was any talk about EVOs coming out. It was very hard to resist the sexy STi, but it will be even harder to resist a V6 powered STi tuned suby. Now I’ll have to sell my car after two years again! Damn it!

I'd love to see a special edition sti or the spec_C coming over.
Might actually get the american companies to get involved more too. The return of the camaro and stuff like that. Compitition is great.
Personally I think they are gonna drop the Sti Wagon on the states. If they do you will be seeing this guy driving one.

I don't know, I got to take an evo for a short test drive this weekend, pretty nice, but way too stiff for extended driving, then again, I'd probably think the same of the STI.....
But I thought the Evo interior layout was one of its stronger points, I didn't really test the material ruggedness or anything though.

Naw, but you bet there will be a special edition STi with 400+hp that will rape the EVO. Subaru has always outdone the EVO's in design, technoligy, and outright reliability.
Just yell over at the EVO drivers when they rev on you. "you better not do that your 4G63 might crankwalk"
Then let lose on the AWD beast

Crankwalk is as far as I know only a 2g Eclipse problem. The engine in the evo counter rotates as far as early and later 4g63 engines go. From what I hear the closed deck of the 4g63 makes for a very strong bottom end, much more so than the current ej series from Subaru, *cough*open deck*cough*semiclosed*cough*. LOL. But me likes the big displacement of the STI. I want a mid 20k awd car from dodge with the neons 2.4 turbo motor in it. That is what I call a strong motor!
