sim card? i thought those things were built into the phone. another problem that im getting is that i constantly get zero bars. i looked up the issues and found that they are common on the new update. im still trying to find a solution without reformatting. my bro works at best buy so i'll ask him to ask the customer reps there...

Apple Adds Multitasking, iAd Platform to iPhone OS 4
Although they won't be ahead of the game, at least Apple will have caught up. That is, until Android or another OS has another break through.
Apple officially launched a developer preview of the iPhone OS 4 on Thursday with integrated ads, location, and multitasking, promising that most users will have access to it by this summer.
The new version, called "the next generation of the most advanced mobile operating system in the world" by Apple chief executive Steve Jobs, contains several enhancements to the OS that users have been asking for, including "tentpole" improvements like multitasking, background task completion, and background location. In total, over 100 new user features were added, executives said.
Some, including multitasking and the ability to create folders, have previously appeared in other mobile operating systems. Apple also officially launched its "iAd" mobile ad platform, which will be integrated into the OS and will provide a way, in the words of Jobs, "to keep free apps free."
