DC Sport Header

Hi All,
Has anyone heard anything about the DC exhaust manifold for the WRX? I was checking this item out on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DC-Sp...spagenameZWDVW
It looks like a pretty good piece....No Cusco or Invidia but from what I know AEM and DC are fairly reputable.
Thanks for any info : )

Not like I can help too much but I had a DC Sports header on my Spec V. I liked the quality and fitment. Seemed like a real quality header. Can't say I have seen one person running DC Sports anything on a Suby though.

With my car I have heard many times to port the stock header and use the Injen? cross pipe.

there was a good review on nazicock about headers. A full tubular design provided the best gains, with the perrin equal length taking the cake (who would have though! )

I ran a set for 2 years on my track car. I would not purchase them again. They will not fit without a flex up-pipe as they are short. At the collection flange where all four pipes meet up, the header is not long enough to meet up to the up-pipe. I managed to get mine to bolt up to the DC up-pipe, though the flex joint was stretched severely and I had to replace the bolts at one point. They do make power, they do look nice. If you are going to run an aftermarket stainless header, I highly recommend having them ceramic coated. I don't like thermal header wrap. Stainless headers will contribute some serious heat to the engine bay unless coated.

my $.02

Oh yeah, they eventually cracked at the collector, but I think any header would have failed under the abuse I threw at it. I am putting on the Crucial ceramic coated and ported stock exhaust manifold/headers.
