custom piping pricing?

so i wanna get my stock resonator removed and have a straight pipe welded in place....

i know i can do it myself, but i just dont have the time to really try to cut the pipe and stuff.... so with that said...

any one got any recommendations besides "precision muffler" in milpitas? and got any idea on how much thats gonna cost.? all i need done is just the stock resonator replaced with a straight pipe.... thats all.

thx for the inputs.

Classic muffler is probably one of the better ones in the bay area. His welds look as if they are machined done.

There's that place down the street from Speed Element. They were the ones that custom fitted my exhaust.

michael's muffler's, there are a few of them in the southbay, I go to the one off capitol expressway. If I just need some piping cut real quick they will do it for free, good guys.

I like this thread

On my Borla exhaust the axle-back portion slides onto the rest of it and then clamps down, and I've always wanted a pipe cut to slide on to the mid-pipe portion with some hangers welded on

yups... always went there... they've done all the exhaust work on all of the cars in the household thus far.

i just didn't wanna go back to them this time, cuz i was too lazy to drive down there... but after calling around and checking out the local shops, i ended up back at the doors of michaels mufflers.

dude i swear i love that place, they are the most helpful buncha guys ever. not only did they give me a better price than the other shops in the area, but also told me they'll squeeze me in between appointments (i was a walk-in) right there on the spot. so $60 and less than 30 minutes later... i walked out a very satisfied customer once again.

the EJ253 (NA) engine + generic aftermarket mufflers - stock resonator (not the cat. converter... its still there.. haha) = 1 loud motha effa. hahaha. i love it. might have to change the mufflers for something a tad quieter down the road... but i'll need to get your opinions first on if my exhaust setup is too loud or just fine. so honk at me next time should you see me on the road and leme know!

thanks again BAIC for the advice!
