My buddy just totalled his '93 FD, his dreamcar. Surprise stop on an on-ramp, there was crap on the road, ploooey. Anyway, trying to get him to pick up this car... Would be a sweet project!

He just got back from checking it out - apparently it has a few leaks (tranny, eng), driver's window doesn't work, clutch is shot, front bumper is misaligned and pretty messed up, etc. He's passing.

^ with slight body work, still a good candidate for a swap if the tranny and engine are gonna be replaced anyway. but yeah, easier to just start with a solid shell with a ton of miles on the engine.

Totally, and he said the guy was really cool about it and up front about everything. For him, the engine/trans didn't matter but the interior seemed pretty trashed with stains and spills etc as well as the other broken stuff. It would be the best candidate for a track car. Even if I swapped, I would still want the rest of the car to be in good shape (just me).

3rd Generation RX-7 w/ twin turbo 13B. Amazing car except they pop motors a lot. My favorite car handlingwise. Truly amazing.

Gaaah.. Almost found the Justy I have been searching for. I want it so bad but the girl won't back down on her price (4x kbb value). Car needs a lot of little things but I couldn't stop laughing driving it around, so I know it's the car for me. Bummed. Crap. Just can't justify spending so much on it. But I want it. Crap. Oh well, keep searching...

there's a Justy today at the Dealer Auction... I just checked after reading your post. Unfortunately I'm not going today as I have too many cars right now... If it doesn't sell I'll check it out for you next week.

It's an '89...

anyone know anything about this car? Im planning on buying a wrx soon. It's mileage and condition isn't the best, but its at a great price.

What do you guys think? Btw, where "Potrero Hill"?

Potrero Hill is in an "interesting" part of San Francisco. The photos look like the parking lot attached to the playground in the safe part of Potrero Hill.
