Plastic pieces like the bumpers often don't perfectly match the rest of the car because of the flex agent they have to add to the paint, but that is worse than I've seen. Other than that, car looks clean.

Get a compression and leakdown test on it before you go through with the purchase

Only $6500 for an auto with front end damage and faded clear coat! Nope.

Someone bought it and is now trying to flip it for more I think.

FYI, we looked at the black STI hatch at Creek this weekend. STAY FAR AWAY from that one.

Wow that is just stupid. I don't understand how people price cars any more.

That FXT looks nice, but I can't handle that color. I went looking around a little last week - found a Suby dealer - I can get an FXT or even a Levorg here but auto only for the new ones. WTF.

Been checking out the Legacys though - seen a few here and there when out and about and they look like the older Levorg, and have seen plenty manual and even a few Boxer Diesel. It's pretty much perfect for me with diesel and a 6spd.

Saw one FXT and it was also a manual so I am guessing Subaru has decided to stop selling the manuals in the larger turbo cars for MY17 or something over here. Super weak. They have a BRZ but that's not appropriate for me any longer. Looks like the Legacy is no longer offered, and the Levorg is basically an Impreza wagon like in UK and AUS.

Manuals only come on the NA models now, except WRX and STI. Turbo FXT manual hasn't happened since 08. Yes, Levorg is WRX sized long wagon since there is no Legacy wagon and no WRX/STI "hatch" now.

Unless he has complete documentation and specs, anything going wrong with the driveline will cost most than the car to fix.

...ABS has been deleted. Also, rear hub modifications make it such that ABS would not work anyway, as the sensors are no longer positioned correctly. Because the speedo runs off the ABS, the computer is still located under-hood...
Sooooo...the speedo does not work then?

...the valve covers are dripping on the exhaust and that smokes when you stop...
Are you SURE it is just the covers with 164k on the clock?

...Because the car is modified and it has some minor issues...
...I'm sure there is lots of other stuff I'm forgetting...
Uhhh huuuuh how convenient...

In summary, there is something major that has prevented him from driving the car and he is trying to unload it before it go off...also, book value on these seem to be $5,000? Which does not seem right...but $10k is still a lot for what is essentially a project car with a lot of unknown "minor" issues requiring fixing. After all my years of dealing with modded cars, if issues were minor and simple (aka cheap), they would have been fixed already.

Pretty solid price. Tan interior is tough though, those aren't well loved.

This ad is bothering me for some reason. It's like a dealer wrote it, but...not. idk. Also seems fishy to me.
They're at it again...

We need a commute friendly car not a sporty car.
This is an ad for a 2005 Subaru WRX STI Turbo.
Has scoop on front, wing on back, and gauges, who doesn't like gauges.
New engine with about 3-5k miles on it, but Odometer says 133k.

We bought this in rough shape and have since done an overhaul on it.
Like 8k for new engine and another 10k+ on everything else. As well as a 5k stereo system with top of the line speakers throughout and a box with two 12' in trunk.

We upgraded the engine size from a stock 227hp to something like a 450hp (not sure of exacts but yes its that much more hp) I told you its fast.

We did things like new subframe, mounts, engine block, hoses, lines, clips, bolts, performance clutch, cobb exhaust and down pipe, bearings, radiator and brackets, bolts etc., swaybar and endlinks, steering rack. I can give you the break down of everything that is brand new also from the multiple pages of the invoice.

We have only driven it for about a year now, very seldom. Just had a (crankshaft)?? arm replaced as well.

New gauges inside, blue racing seats, blue carpet, blue/green skull shift ****, blue lights everywhere.
Has a nice touch screen stereo with apple play and hands free talk option.

Only downfall right now is the locks need to be fixed, and putting gas into it needs better suction seal on it (it stops pumping because it loses the seal with the gas pump nozzle), and a trunk latch.

This new engine has under 5k miles, but the odometer still says 133k. But at this point only the inside and the body has that mileage on it.

The body is Black with the blue/black interior and gray accents on dash panels in car. It has a bigger wing on the trunk.

You'll love the power this car has, it's so fast and quick, 6 speed stick shift car. We get props everywhere we go on how it sounds.

We are wanting someone to get the financing with a bank for 15k to take over this car. And a down payment of 5k or a vehicle worth 5k. As we cannot afford to make another car payment on top of this one.

Come test drive it and you'll fall in love.
What's up with all the "we" stuff? And this person sounds like they have no idea an STi comes with the "big wing" and blue/black interior. Such a strange ad.

New pic shows it as having a handicap license plate.
