If you're building a complete fence rent a nail or screw gun. Way more useful than that thing. The Craftsman looks ok for small jobs or tight spaces, but I can't see it being more useful than that.

That would take extra talents - you press it onto the nail and the internal hammer bangs it in - inside the cylinder. You would have to seriously mis-use it to smash your hand. If you give yourself a black eye whilst flossing, this is not the tool for you.

what about using the preloaded nails that have gun powder and can use in bricks and such

I been selling these at sears for a while now at least for the beginning of this year. =) .. they're pretty cool and convenient. it took them a while to finally release a commercial for it.
