Oh man, I'd LOVE LOVE LOOOVE to have one of those!

When we get our new house I have to make a 7' fence around the house and I'll be dammed if I use a conventional hammer again like I did with the last fence... 300 nails = suck!

I always wondered when something like this would come out... Small, simple, and not all crazy expensive/large. I wonder if you can modify it to become a bolt gun... Like remove the metal casing around the piston that drives the nails... Like the bolt guns they use to kill cows... basically it's a high compression piston that acts like a nail gun, the bolt goes into the cows brain and retracts back into the device so you can kill again. Pretty gnarly device, but it might be cool for self defense... Just not use it on someone's head... Give them crazy *** charlie horses and such. lol

I think I took that too far... lol

Use screws for a fence since you will be hammering in those nails again when they work themselves out. Trust me I learned the hard way.

Yeah sort of like a battery powered palm nailer. The ones I have used have all been air powered but it makes SUCH a huge difference. My pops and I renovated 3 houses in '05 and added decks to two of them, the Senco palm nailer is pretty awesome and buzzes in a nail in no time.

This also depends greatly on the climate, the nails used, and the material used for fencing/decking.
