they should...only thing i've seen are the glasses suspended inside of goggles, and that was in a dirt bike magazine, but same thing.
I had LASIK performed about a year and a half ago by Dr. Jay Bansal at LaserVue here in Santa Rosa. I can't recommend them enough. Great staff, great doctor.
I was afraid to do it for years. I just thought that there was no way it would come out that great for me. After having it done I don't know why I waited so long. The procedure is fast and painless. Recovery isn't bad at all. I had some minor discomfort in my eyes for a couple of days, but not even as bad as an eyelash in the eye.
One note, Dr. Bansal is very expensive. In a day and age where most will perform LASIK for $2,000, he was almost $5,000. However, the guy is one of the top dogs in the field and I felt that my vision was worth having the best do it. I financed it through Credit Care and paid it off early last year. Let me know if you decide to go to him and I can give you a referal card worth $300 off.

Make sure to check with your insurance provider prior to having a procedure done. I was surprised to find out that, with Kaiser, if you have any eye procedure performed by a non-Kaiser doctor, you automatically waive your eye (health) insurance for one year.
That said, read the fine print and double check all of the 'amazing success rate' statistics as they are intentionally vague. Attaining 20/20, even with post-surgical corrections, is closer to 90% probable as opposed to the advertised 95-98%. There is also a nonzero risk of permanent blindness and/or becoming legally blind, so do your homework!

My wife had it done and she constantly refers to it as the best thing she's ever done in her life. She went the the UC Berkeley Lasik guy and it took all of 10 minutes. If you think about it, paying for contacts for a few years will easily match the price of the Lasik.

my left eye vision has really started to go lately. i cant read license plates if i shut my right eye.
this is something i am going to have to look into.
For that that have had it done.. what does the procedure entail?
I heard they stick some needle into your eye  there is no way i can handle that. Maybe im completely wrong and misguided. Id love to hear the details!

I have looked into this on several occasions and here is a summary of most important things to consider if you will even qualify (at reputable place that's not out to just take your money)...
- Your age; it can be risky if you get it at an age where your body is still growing/changing. I was told your vision has to be stable in order for safe long term results. I was strongly advised again the surgery when I was 25 because my vision was still deteriorating, and come back when at least two years in a row there was no change in my condition.
- Your cornea size; apparently not all cornea sizes and shapes can be operated safely. I believe there are problems if they are too large or too small; I was told mine were slightly too large. This can pose the risk of getting double vision and blurriness since not the entire cornea will be fixed.
- Money; if you are even thinking whether or not you can afford this, would have to shop around or not go to the best certified experienced doctor than stay away...I had a buddy back in Chicago get bad results when he cut corners. You get what you pay for; equipment and experience wise.

I want to have this done too, but I do know that I am probably too young and my vision is still variant.
