Cold weather + cheap gas = 12mpg

That blows. Where I fill up in Monterey it's $1.93 at a Shell. I can get 27 on the highway, on a regular week, I get about 22 (drive over a hill). Granted I'm in a stock 2004 n/a Le-gaycy.

I think when I first got my Invidia header without tune. I got about ~8-9 mpg in my wrx, lol. Expensive, but fun...

I usually get 23mpg. Now I get about 21mpg, not too shabby considering I can use up a quarter of a tank in one day...

i also realized my car doesnt get better gas mileage if i strictly drive freeway, its same both city and freeway, which is weird =/

all city driving i get like 19, mixed i get 20-22 and ive gotten 25.5 on freeway once from sc to sacramento

I too noticed a bit more pep when I mash on it but my MPG has been flushed down the pooper. I went from 22 to 17mpg, that was a big shock to me...

I've been getting anywhere from 19 to 21mpg. Not that I mind when gas is under $2/gallon.

I think it is cold air that makes our cars more powerful and therefore we push it a bit more for fun.

just in my boombox, since gas is cheap, i took this weekend and drove to san diego to pickup a wingless trunk for my wrx when it gets outta the shop and i was getting excellent mileage! but i went to the casino with friends while i was down there and made more money then i spent on gas haha
