Clutch slipping in 5th gear only...Help

OK so my clutch just started slipping in 5th gear. it doesnt do it in any other gear...yet. SHould i take this as the begining signs or is something else going on.

I just had the damn thing replaced 25k miles ago so I just dont understand how it could be slipping already.

Any help would be appreciated.

2006 Subaru WRX wagon 61k miles
Stage 2 excedy stage 2 clutch
Light weight flywheel.

Replaced @ 35k because I taught my wife and brother how to drive MT on it and they ****ed it up. Wife hasnt driven it once since then and brother drives it rarely.

I have about 5 track days on it. 3 of them very hard track days. HAvent been to one in over a year though.

Thanks in advance.

Ryan

Those 3 pucks don't last as long as standard clutches... maybe you're the reason your clutch went bad so quick the first time???

Just saying.

Mine is slipping too but it's got like 90k on it. LOL.

Maybe it needs to be adjusted? Don't those things have adjustable springs or some crap?

That clutch is not recommended for street use for a reason.

Yea you should never slip it when engaging in first, you have to almost drop it, or at least thats how its intended to be engaged (to my best knowledge)

Yeah... I'm not overly surprised that it's burning out at 25-30k. Those things shirt harder and wear out faster for a reason...

It's like a 140 tread wear rating. Yeah it makes you tight in the pants to hit those corners but if you're gonna run them on the street don't be surprised when you're having to drop another $800 on tires 12 months later.
