When it seems to slip, I try throttling more and then car barely moves and the RPM's get to 4-5K!
If the engine revs up like that and the clutch is completely engaged (foot off pedal), your clutch is slipping. Nothing to do with the pulley, unfortunately.

If the rpm's skyrocket with no appreciable increase in speed, your clutch is definitely shot. It happens most in gears 1-2 because you're applying the most torque to the clutch.

Time for an upgrade!

burned it only 2 times..but not that bad..but otherwise pretty easy on the clutch.
Sometimes they just don't recover after a bad abuse incident. Maybe the clutch disc compound glazes over or something from the extreme heat.

I don't know what installed prices are at your location but here is one example of my California installed pricing (U.S. dollars) with an aftermarket Exedy clutch.

You may want to check with your dealer. Wearable items such as the clutch, brakes, & wiper blades are supposedly covered under your 3/36 warranty. I was suprised to find out that my front brake pads were worn after 25k miles. My dealer said "no problem" and that they would take care of it under warranty. Results will vary since it would seem Subaru dealerships are inconsistent when it comes to service and warranty work.
