Nope...cingular plans are just gonna cover more area now. Same for ATT. It's a good thing.
I could have told you guys about this long ago. Probably a couple months ago. But that would be insider trading...lol.
Oh...and man if you can hook me up with a phone that would be sick...pm me if you are serious.
I work for SBC and the employee plans suck big ones...I'm on a consumer plan. Been with Cingular since it was pacbell wireless. Damn SBC......too the security guy watching me type right now...I didn't mean it...I love SBC.

I can't stand Cingular. They are going to drag AT&T down with them. Cingular is $6billion in debt now with this buyout. That British company is probably going to hope that they do badly and can buy both of them out in a year or so for the same price as one.

You won't....if the tower combine, which they probably will, not only will u get ur keep ur good reception, your parents with cingular will have reception as well...

This will be good for both plans. It will bring ATT plans to reality. More accessable and more friendly to the sub 35's.
It will make cingulars only weekness a little less evident...their coverage blows. Now it should improve.
Implimentation isn't immediate so give it a chance.
Subscribers to both companies should get informed via mail of the details and dates of any and all changes. Also with any direction on what you need to do. I am quite sure they are working to make it as seemless as possible for all parties involved. Hopefully those with cingular will notice better coverage and better national plans...and those with ATT will notice lower rates and better phones.
