Just an FYI, it was reported that the CHP will be enforcing the speed limit on 680 today, 5-26

 

I like how they announce they will only be enforcing the speed limit on certain days. Methinks these speed crackdowns have the opposite effect; theyre supposed to scare us into driving slow all of the time but instead they simply tell us its ok to speed most of the time.

 

aren't they supposed to do that everyday?

 

Damnit, we're having a caravan to Infineon today on 680 ... We're so going to get busted up.

 

Detour, you shouldnt have anything to worry about unless you guys give them a reason to pull you over, go stelth CC @ 65mph in 5th or 6th gears ull be fine.

saw 3 CHP bikes under an overpass on 680 south @ stoneridge today... parked there in a row - all with radar guns

must have been the same 3 CHPs I saw this morning... I also saw 2 CHP cruisers on the sunol grade too (a rare sight). I'll be driving 65 all the way home today.

 

not the sunol grade!!! downshifting and punching the accelerator up that grade is a blast! i guess i'll be taking it slow too....
