Wow, the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and the newspaper with the featured article on the "Fresh Prince" (Will Smith) in the photo. Hahaha. Gonna try another cheesesteak with the cheeze whiz?

LOL. it tastes soooo much better than the ones here. the juices from the steak mixing with the cheese soaked up by the bread tastes so good it can't even be described. mouths watering yet? haha.

The Chease Steak Shop chain is pretty good. Really as good as it gets outside of Pennsylvania.

As far as Northern Cali that's true. Simply because they bring Amoroso rolls out which is what they use in Philly. If you want the closest, you gotta go to So Cal. Either Fountain Valley or Irvine. The place is called Philly's Best. Met the owner when he first opened the FV store. He brings in the rolls, Franks sodas, Wise potato chips and makes them the same way they do in Philly.

And Geno's is where the tourists go, same with Pat's. Any small pizza or sandwich place will make you a great cheesesteak.

To the OP you should try a Hoagie. Or even a cheesesteak hoagie. Mmmmmm........

Incase you people didn't figure it out I'm from Philly. Born and raised 13 years.
