anything special about the older intake manifolds on the older STi's?

they look similar to the WRC intake manifolds

 

I'm not doubting you or anything at all, however I AM super curious as to how you are going to register this car in California. It's very obviously not USDM so how do you plan on getting it past the SMOG *****?

And oh yeah... I can easily look past the ugh-lee paint and lame hood to see a sweet friggin machine. I'd so take an old school STi!

 

Oh snap! I just noticed it has a 22B wide body kit! Paint that thing WRB and it would be my dream car!
