SWEET ride!! Top Secret gold definitely isn't for everyone, but props to your buddy for putting it on ride that actually has some bite instead of just a flashy exterior.

Btw, are you the guy that sold your Vishnu power goodies & turbo to Ryan w/the silver bugeye wagon?

Well it's almost done, went to the CHIPPERS and got a new VIN for the Suby. Should be done by this week if anybody cares.

That's sick, not a huge fan of gold though. Great potential.

posting from japan. hopefully when i get back, the car will be lowered on my new zeal function v6 with endless 6pot fronts and 4pot rears behind the new wheels. thanks to stef for putting in a lot of hard working trying to get my car registered. i wanted to go wingless with the car but i figured that the 22b widebody would look too wide without a wing so i put the 22b wing on there. not everyone is going to like one the same type of car or the way it is built. thanks for the good and bad comments. hopefully i make it to jtown this coming sunday

Must be registering as a kit car, if you're obtaining a new VIN.
"Custom" body and motor sent over in separate crates?

What smog requirements are there for kit cars?
If you could PM me about how you're generally doing this (won't press for specifics), I'd appreciate it.

Sorry it's not done as a kit car....new vin cause the jdm vin has only 8 characters so there computer freaks out. So you get a new one the dmv-chp can use. The car is registered as a suby impreza like the rest. I've done this process like four times now.

Once that thing comes together it's going to be off the hook! I'll spare the details though since it's not my car......
