Sorry the process is "TOP SECRET"......j/k it took me too much time, research and effort to get it down right. Now it's just the effort to make all the appointments. I charge some good money for this service. The owner of this car had it sitting in the garage for about a year and a half until he got a hold of me.He can finallydrive it legally.

how much does the entire legality process cost?

i mean, shipping over here, plus your cost of making it legal?
if you are uncomfortable letting that info out, plz pm me a ballpark figure.
thanks!

Have to look into it....But would guess around $4000 or so for the 2000 STI RA for the question(2) above. There a bunch of more legal issues with the CHP and smog/ref stuff though. My next project(up-coming weeks is a S14).

So wait... Is 4K the cost including all the CHP and smog/ref stuff? Cuz Jesus H. Christ, I still dream of having myself a street legal S14 or even RPS13. I'll bet buying an S13 in Japan would be relatively cheap, if it's only another 4K to make it legal, I might hop on something like that.

Feel free to PM me info if you'd like to keep some of this quiet. Thanks.

I still think the ver 1-3 engine is the best subaru engine to mod ever. I had the same car Ver. 2 RA and that engine was just strong. When Subaru made the block, they thought of rallying. It was so over enginerred that Subaru reverted to semi closed deck after saying that the closed deck wa too damn strong
