Private company? What do you mean by that? I have had good luck with ABF Freight and they will do door to door delivery of pallets. This is how I shipped my stuff to Hawaii. It completely depends on weight and dimensions - $50 is crazy cheap, I doubt you will find a company that will be willing to haul a loaded pallet from LA to here for that.

man, ABF is BANK! So far, cheapest I can find is little under $170 with FedEx. One source told me he got a flat rate for $87. Called the freight company, and waiting for reply...

i guess it doesn't have to be private... just CHEAP! detail products are not that expensive (comparing to wheels or something), and not that big in shipment size. So if the cost of shipment is too high, it really eats into my margin, which means I can't pass the discount onto i-club.

man, that's not a problem... I can go down with my 4Runner round trip one day for ~$100 gas and fast food... even if i have to stay over night, it would run me about the same as shipping FedEx.

But I want to better use of my time, detailing or retailing, not driving...

If there was some change in it I'd do it for you. No job so I have the time and I have a truck. But I can't kill a hole day for $20... hell it'll cost me $40 to change the oil in my bro's truck. haaaa.
