Cheap Pallet Pickup/Delivery?

Anyone know of a private company that would do cheap pallet delivery run from LA area back to the bay area? I heard of some private company that would do it for $50 a pallet or something.

Help!

Leo

FedEx LTL (less-than-truckload) maybe. Been seeing more of those around lately, usually offloading only a pallet or two. http://www.fedex.com/us/freight/main/ Not a private company I know, and don't know if it's a reasonable price or outrageous.

I actually need to pick it up from LA and haul it back up to here. I'll pay you $50 if you do it... LOL

Try Yellow and Orange. Both have given reasonable pricing to me in the past.

Are we talking standard blue pallets?

If Yellow or Orange wont do it, don't bother with Red...they have aggressive pricing

They might have changed or merged with someone else.

Also try;

Con-way
Roadway

They're not private, but if you ask they'll discount their rates.

48x48...

My manufacture used to cut me a pretty good deal... now it comes to almost the same if I were to drive down and pick it up myself....

If I can't find a good deal, I might just well make it a weekend trip, go down, chill, have fun, and come back up with the shipment. Pay the same and have some fun.
