Change in state ref regulations regarding swaps?

oh, there is NOTHING about this engine that is non-factory. the injectors are going to be cleaned and balanced, the fuel rail is factory... i'll replace the fuel pressure regulator... the timing will be stock, as will the cam gears.

btw knock - i chose this engine on purpose. a LOT of people have suggest many, many, many other engines for the same basic reasoning... more power. but, while i am upgrading for more power, this engine was chosen on purpose to keep the balance of the car overall.

yeah, I recently read How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems by Jeff Hartman and there was a section that detailed a few baller engine swaps. MR2 with the supercharged turboed 1mzfe v6 was one of them, and looked insane. Had to throw that in the mix.
