Ceramic coating

I want to get an up pipe re-coated and a set of heaters coated, anyone know a good/reasonably priced place?

I was going to recommend Crucial Racing, because I have a Cobb heat shield coated by them, but apparently they are closed. Any idea what happened to them?

EDIT: It looks like Jeremy is working at Tesla now

I think Crucial Racing didn't do their own coatings. They contracted it out to a shop in the Bay Area. I've used Replika Maschinen in Santa Clara, but they took forever and weren't cheap. They media blasted everything and coated inside and out. Good news is their coating on my downpipe held up fine for 5 years to the point when I sold it. Not sure if they're still in business, however.

Pretty sure that's who crucial contracted with for the coatings lol. And as for coatings, in my experience swaintech is the best for durability and heat retention.

I've been searching around for this lately too and making some calls.

I'm probably going to take my header to West Coast Specialty Coatings in Concord.

They were helpful and gave me a reasonable quote. Still gonna be a few weeks before I drop my header off with them.
