btw: as far as the insurance you have to have your phone physically active for the insurance company to give you a test call and u speaking to them, however there are loop holes in the system and would rather speak more about it privately so let me know whats up ...

depends on what your insurance covers. read ur insurance pamphlet before making a claim. all lost or stolen claims require a police report, but in the lovely city of san jose the police do not waste their time on it and dont write up reports so no need for one. just check what ur insurance covers and if they ask for a report say u tried but the city police dont waste their time on small reports like this. theres usually a 35-50 dollar deductible that you will have to pay though for the new fone.
