This thread wasn't meant to be interesting... it proved a point. However, you can take it to be anything you like and continue the mindless personal attack.

You know, you may benefit from joining me on my 'quest for enlightenment.' But, the hard thing is, I seem to have gotten quite the head-start and I'm not sure if you'd be able to catch up. Perhaps you should seriously consider following the example in that lovely picture you posted.

First of all, to clarify once again, this thread was not created to point out or in any way demonize the pollution that catless cars cause.

But thanks for bringing it up! ...

I'm sorry, but your point has a major flaw. Propose an alternative for the transport of shipping containers, and then you could complain about the big-rigs and compare them to your every-day transportation. The big rigs aren't removing cats... and they keep the economy running. What greater purpose does modifying YOUR exhaust serve? The trucks pollute alot, yes. But if they didn't run on diesel, how much do you think you'd have to pay for a gallon of premium? Or a gallon of milk, for that matter. There is always a fragile balance between the environment and the economy, and since other forms of pollution (like big rigs) are more necessary than others, those that are unneccessary should, logically, be reduced to a minimum.


Maybe once people start to show some decent reasoning behind the things they say, maybe then I'll stop this 'logic police' thing I seem to be stuck on.

It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it. The question is, does anybody appreciate it? I'm sure there's those of you who are agreeing with most everything I have said here, but are intimidated by the harping that I am receiving. Trust me, there's not much to be afraid of.
