Catless or not? [poll]

Just testing a proposed number...

Or maybe trying to expose (and discourage) outlandishly constructed arguments.

Yep I agree with what steven (sstinger77) has to say. I'm running catless and never thought twice about what it would do to the enviroment. Most people when modding their car want the best results and won't sacrifice that power by leaving a cat in the exhaust. There are tons of cars out there that pollute way more than subaru's do. And also don't even mention the whole smell thing. Compared to my friends catless GSX, catless ae86, catless mr2 turbo, catless iroc z....... my car smells the least.

Dont want to turn this into a cat/catless discussion but how much HP are you really losing by running a cat? 5? 10? Its almost nothing. I dont really see a point to running catless. You are running the risk of huge fines if caught and you dont gain any significant power by eliminating it. Dont get me wrong I'm not one of these dirty hippie environmentalists, I just dont see any good reason to run without a cat. Maybe if someone can come up with a good excuse I'll change my mind

I'm not really sure on this but aren't you still messing with emissions? You are removing all three stock cats and putting one high flow one in place. Won't cops still hassle you with moddified exhaust and say that you have removed emissions equipment?

Well its possible but how many cops can spot the elimination of a cat in the up and downpipe? Most cars just have the cat in the normal position under the front seats.

If you have no cats you are catless. If you have ANY cats, you are catted. The point of this thread (which has now been achieved) is to disprove that 75% of the people in this car club are running with no cats.

Since I didn't mention it, I thought it would be assumed that this is NOT a hypothetical question .

You seem to 'want' to be catless... the question is, ARE YOU?

I'm running catless now, but will switch back to catted. I love the performance, but
my daughter hates the smell. I can't even drive her to school in the SUBYBUS because
of all the other kids.
