Hello, which MOS field will allow me to slay dragons on a volcano and transform me into dress blues?

Houston, we have a problem. At least that's where your phone number comes from. Your career opportunities include what, per se?

1. Infantry in Fallujah being shot at and dodging IED's?
2. Rocket Propelled Grenade target while in Baghdad?
3. Taliban fodder while in Afghanistan?

Not to say that I don't support our troops, but I'd like to see them come home safely now that the oil-mogul is out of the White House.

Being a combat veteran myself I will not comment on the negative reply but will say thank you for supporting us.

I want to say something, but I cant say anything in support of these wars or the bloated military expense, and I dont want to show disrespect to people (of any military in any nation) who have the hardest job in the world.

Good luck?

Spoken like someone who knows nothing of what the military does.

How about these instead:
1. Getting to see places around the world that few others get to see, like tropical paradises that put the Carribean to shame.
2. Being part of foreign relations that help build strong bonds for future generations. I myself was one of the first American military personel to go to Libya in over 40 years.
3. Training and experience in nearly all fields of work which can be used post service.

Not to mention the fact that the military will pay for college education while your in. You don't have to use your GI Bill until you get out or you can pass it along to your dependants.
