Sad thing, 03_Impreza_Al, is that the radar detector I picked up from ya is the only thing not covered. It worked great while I had it and it's gonna be a long time until I see a price like that again.

Sorry to hear, man...

This is why I will never park a car that I own outside overnight. I've had way too many break-ins.

When I was in college, I almost started leaving the windows down overnight, 3 times in 4 years, I quit caring about the Civic, I was just sick of cleaning up the glass...now the window track is FUBAR for life.

The STI will never spend a night outside. EVER.

I live near evelyn and wolfe in the back of a complex in which the land lord said "it's a really really safe place"
You live pretty close to me. I should be with caution anytime then.

Depends on the company but usually its your option on whether to cash out or get replacement parts and have them installed.

This is a perfect time for me to tell everyone that you ALWAYS want to have some sort of proof of ownership for your car audio stuff. Unfortunately it happens all the time where someone gets broken into, files a claim and says they had a kick *** system but can't provide proof of ownership so they only get base model replacements.

I usually keep it in my glove compartment along with the faceplate of my CD player. I almost always do it if I'm out going to the movies or to the bars. Of course, though, over time I've become lackadaisical... especially when parked at my place.

I don't know any insurance company that will pay for a radar detector because, you know, they're sorta used to avoid law enforcement
