just pray if they trashed it you never get it back b/c who knows what they did to the car or put in it. i've heard stories of fowl smelling crap and cars that never ran the same again after it got stolen. plus the resale value just dropped.

Yeah, it got stolen from ala moana parking lot. top floor by macys. i still cant believe it got stolen....just when i started liking the car.

how did they steal it. it has the chip in the key. damn. i really gotta sell my s2 now. anyone know anyone who wants one? ony 12k miles.

seriously. is it easy to bypass the chip or something? good luck in finding out what happened. b

 

I can only think of one way to by pass the chip...and that is way too much trouble to do. The other way is tow the car (which almost every single car is possible to tow away) or the person had the right key to the car. When the car was bought, i never got the other key and remote. So maybe someone was running around with it. I have no idea.

Jesus, Ala Moana is a fricking car thief/hater hangout huh? WTF? I thought those were pretty hard to steal as well. I mean it has to get a signal from the key to start doesnt it? Shouldnt even be able to hot wire under the column or anything. Maybe they went under the hood or something and started it that way.

Sucks when you can even take your car to the malls. I still only take the truck there after hearing all the horror stories. Cant ala moana get this crap under control?

 

you know. Someone probably towed your car. Watch the next carshow. Theres going to be a civic with s2k head/tail lights, seats, steering wheel, shifter, seats etc..

 

at some recent car show the cops went in and took the VIN off of a bunch of cars and motors, then came back with some tow trucks, and impounded the cars with stolen motors.

 

wow that's amazing....thieves now a days they'll steal anything...but how many S2K's are out there?? you'll definitly know if someone is trying to sell your stuff.... good luck finding it...
