i went to infineon a couple weeks ago, saw the a4 with the plates that said "notans4" as well.

there was also a e55amg that showed up that day, ran 12's. Pretty crazy.

you guys should go check the stats on mercedez. I would bet that MBZ is stock (minus the fuggly rims). There is extra tax put on most MBZ for high emissions or something like that, nastiness.
MBZ puts out a very high performance, high luxury vehicle.
example for performance: SL600 Roadster- Twin Turbo 5.5L V12. 493HP@5K RPM, 590lb-ft@ 1800-3500RPM. 0-6 in 4.5 seconds.
These are 'gentlemens' measures according to my friend thats a mechanic at Beshoff motors.
Lucky bastard gets to drive these $100K+ cars every other week or so.

 

I think thats the same car that thought I was racing him like a year ago Needless to say I was schooled (its not like I was actually racing him though, lol!)

 

The V12 is standard on the SL?
I thought it was a V8 with optional bigger engines

The SL 600 has the V12 standard. Other SL's have varying engine sizes AFAIK.

SL 500 has 4.6L V8 NA,
SL 600 has V12 twin turbo,
SL55 has the 5.0L supercharged V8

 

SL55 = pure hot monkey love.

Oh, and wouldn't the SL55 be a 5.5l Supercharged V8?
