Car Problem Questions
Well...... Car seems alot slower and the ecutek delta dash tells me my vac at idle is negative 8-10 Which I thought should be under negative 18-20 under boost I cant seem to get past 17.4 psi and my car was tune for more. Thats with 3 gallons of 100 mixed with 91.
Would a loose bov or a leaking downpipe cause a problem if its not caught for a week or two?

ECU could be running in limp mode? do you have a manual boost controller? I had to clean and re-lube mine after about 30K miles.
You should list all your mods and any changes you've made in the last couple months.

the following is APS
3.5 tbe
tmic
y-pipe
bov
cai
turbo inlet pipe
Then I have a PE 1820
Running stock injectors
pe 800's ready to be installed.
GM Boost Sillynoid
It was tuned running this.
Yes the injectors have been pegged to 103% idc Since then boost has been turned down. I might get a 98% once in a bit.
Now... I had my tmic hitting my firewall and my a/c stopped working. So I went to take a look at the a/c line and found my bov bolts to tmic stripped on one side and the bov loose. Then also the pe1820 wastegate accuator diaphram bolts not tightened. Which I'm hoping was the high pitch sound I get when letting off throttle.
So with my tmic stripped, I swap my aps y-pipe off the tmic. reinstalled in onto the STi tmic and reinstalled everything. OK now thats fixed for now. Then on a run to Vegas my APS bellmouth to Downpipe looses 2 out of 3 bolts holding it togther. I thought it was only one at the time. (Roadside inspection) Well that gets two new bolts and gasket on order.
Car has not been retuned for STi tmic.
Now.. anyone see a reason my cars vacume is running so crappy?
I would have figured my bov was a huge vac leak. Any thoughts....
