They came back at about a 50% savings. Bought the same as esurance.
I have mercury now and love them. Been there for like 6 years or so. But We're paying like $2400 a year.
Hard to pass up $1000 savings.

^^
Esurance was still about 400 a year more.
I need to find out where I am getting stationed next and make a decision once my current insurance is close to being renewed.

I just don't want to cheap out and end up getting ****ty service.
The last insurance I had before mercury was terrible. My car had to get painted and they didn't even come anywhere near close to matching it. Could see the blends. Fender was the wrong color. They hung my door wrong so it wouldn't even close right. Etc.
Mercury has been rad. My agent knows me by voice. Someone tried to steal my car and they stole the stereo and screwed up the hood latch and what not. They sent a flat bed. Picked it up fixed it. I ended up getting a choice of deck to replace mine. Got one that wasn't even officially on the market yet. Better than what was in there. Dropped my car off. Never had to do anything. Etc. Ripping service. Just paying a premium for it is getting old when you're pay is basically cut 15-20%.

Most likely has to do something with the market not performing well and insurance companies having to raise prices to raise more capital for investments.

In the span of 2 weeks from when I got a quote to when I signed off on the policy, Farmers raised the premium about $50/mo on WRX's due to "a large number of claims recently".
I did some jew-fu and managed to keep the increase closer to $40/mo.
