My insurance at the moment is a little less than 1200/mo and I have no accident, tickets, or anything...

I think it is because they classify the L as a sports car. Bleh...

If you have renters insurance or house insurance it drops big time. My family all have the same insurance company, and we keep the insurance mail location at my parents house in cupertino. State farm will give you discount if your mailing address is the same as a house that is insured through them. Also multi-car discount.

dropped from 1300 a year to 830 a year for an 06 wrx full coverage.

Oh yeah...
I have esurance and have been really happy. They're the cheapest I could find until I got a quote from Wawanesa (only $200 cheaper/year). I had to make a claim against my comp coverage and they were awesome. No complaints.

My bad. It should be $1200/yr. Nice catch. But still, hella expensive for something that only makes 37whp.

yeah e-surance was about 450 a year more than wawanesa and wawanesa was about 800 less than my current company per year, with higher coverages.

^^ they charge a chick-magnet factor because it causes so many fender benders from the womenz not paying attention to the road.

Wawanesa is a good company, everyone in my family uses them

If you check the california consumer reports, they have less complaints against them than almost any other ins company

Check Naic.org.

45 total complaints in 2006, vs 366 for mercury vs 289 for allstate

I ran all the stuff through the calculator on Geico, and it looks like my rate dropped a little bit. Could consider looking at a new coverage plan.

I might actually change based on their quote and reviews.
