Car Cover Recommendations
I'm looking for a good quality car cover with some type of locking mechanism on it. Since I'm going to college in about a week, and I'm taking the suby down I want just another thing to deter theft, and try to prevent more sun fade. Price isn't much of a problem unless it starts getting really high.
Recommendations would be great, but personal reviews would be even better.

well it depends how much you want to spend.

or go to griot's garage and search for car covers.

I would say either Evolution, Noah or WeatherShield (WeatherShield HD) are the best. They are not cheap and I am not sure where your car will be. Outside, inside, sun, rain etc.
Regards

I have had lots of car covers... Haha.. Covercraft NOAH and Sunbrella have always been the nicest IMHO. I have a Subaru Factory cover for my RS and the Covercraft covers put it to shame. I don't have any left as I gave them away with the cars, but never had any problems with them. They all have locking loops to accept an underbody cable. Mirror pockets, etc. Gotta have mirror pockets...
Might sound dumb and obvious, but never put your cover on your car unless it's CLEAN.

I have a custom NOAH cover from www.calcarcover.com for my STi. It fits perfectly over the wing and the NOAH material (it's been more than a year) has been very impressive... it blocks stuff from getting to the paint, yet is breathable enough to let moisture escape. Lesser materials will trap moisture, which leads to mildew. It's not cheap however... but I definitely think it's worth it if you plan on leaving your car outside a lot.

Living where you and I do I couldn't agree more. The punk kids around here actually take the time to lift car covers and splatter eggs underneath them.

Thanks for the posts, it seems like the NOAH carcovers seem to be what everyone loves. Guess I'll start looking for those.
