Need valve cover gaskets changed + other misc maintenance... recommendations?

Hey all, not sure where this thread belongs so I figured I would start here first.

I need a bunch of maintenance done on my WRX, mainly the valve cover gaskets changed (leaking all over the place).

I'm pretty capable with a wrench I just can't find the time lately, I also need a bunch of other stuff done as a preventative maintenance (2005 with 172k)

Belts changed, AT fluid flush/filter replacement, air filter replacement, throttle body cleaning (sticky pedal), tire rotation etc.

Can anyone recommend a shop? I'm located on the Peninsula but do not mind driving out to save a few bucks or for a reputable shop.

Happy Holidays

AutoHQ, have kevin the master technician do the work. Always a happy camper when getting work done by him. One of THE best in the bay.

+1 for Kevin. He can be a little hard to get a hold of. So just make sure you leave a message and he will get back to you when not under a far.

I've been trying to get a hold of those guys for months! I finally broke down and took my car to the dealership in Livermore. I would still love for someone who knows what they're doing to take a look at my subie, especially now since i think there's a problem with the power steering...

I've heard good things from a few of my friends that have gone to garage 1 auto. But I'm sure Ed treats his customers right as well and he just posted

Don't take it to LIC Motorsports in Novato. You'll become addicted to their professionalism, their service, their honesty and integrity. You'll drive past any number of shops in order to get there. I know I'm going there for any work I can't do myself...for both of my Foresters.
