Capitol Subaru Service Dept: Such a Wonderful Experience! +1

Hey Guys,

Last month I made a thread asking for recommendations on local reputable subi shops. I received a PM from Justin at Capitol Subaru who reached out to me and was able to take my car in under warranty (busted 3rd and 4th gear synchros). Where other dealerships fell short, Justin came through. Oakland and Fremont did not want to fix the issue under warranty because they said my car was lowered and that the intake had evidence of being tampered with.

When I dropped my car off, the staff was very prompt, professional and could care less about the modifications. Came to find out that my car was not flagged after all and that the case Oakland had opened was closed. To top it off, they gave me a FREE Enterprise loaner car (2007 Nissan Titan) for 2 weeks.

When I picked up the car this morning, I gave it a thorough road test. The car felt just like new again! In addition, it received a full report card inspection and everything checked out perfect. This was all done with no cost out of my pocket what so ever. It has got to be one of the best experiences I've ever had dealing with a service department.

Thus, I want to thank Justin and Capitol Subaru for reaching out and taking care of me. Also, Christian (the mechanic) who did an outstanding job, sorry you had to deal with taking off my wind spliiter . My experience with this dealership was excellent and I hope that you guys will find this testimonial as benificial. Thanks for reading!

Yea, the Capitol guys are cool. They could care less about some mods here and there. They decided to put alot of their ad $ into the lifetime powertrain warranty on all cars purchased there. I think the result is a better service department, with more funds to help customers out.

+1 to Capitol Subaru. I took my car there a few weeks ago to have my battery tested, because it felt like it was on its last legs. Well, they told me that the battery was just low on water... even though they could have easily sold me a new one (like Sears tried to do).

Another +1 for Justin and Capitol Subaru. Just had my catalytic converter and wiper blades replaced under warranty with no hassle. Got another free rental from Enterprise. Thanks again guys, keep up the good work!

Do you know for a fact that Capitol Subaru does not mind about mods and warranty? Or just only a few mods...?

Always good to hear when people have a good experience at a dealership, those good experiences are becoming fewer and further between these days.
