Can't unclip STi third brake light plugs

Im trying to take the STi wing off (I know there will be like 15 holes) and the only thing stopping me is unplugging the male and female plugs! I don't know why but they wont come undone

They are the ones inside of the trunk on the actual trunk itself, next to the passenger side bar holding the trunk lid onto the car. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and how to get them apart?

if i know whjat ur talking about, the black harness on the side unclips by jamming a flat head screw driver into a slot.... twist screw driver so that you apply pressure away from eahc other and hopefully it will out with ease. hope that made snse. gl.

This is what I did.. probably the hardest harness to unclip and I've messed with countless harness from working as an audio installer.

the extension chord that you described. the line that goes from the trunk and runs along the passenger side trunk arm and ends under the passenger side rear dash.
