oh man... i know what you mean... I have to keep all the windows closed and turn on the AC to filter the air. And my AC just broke when they re-surface my deck... Luckily it hasn't been that hot...

But yeah, when I head outside, I have a hard time breathing... Feel like I am on top of mountain with thin air... It sucks!

Actually, most of the Mendo fires were caused by lightning... they had over 600 lightning strikes near Ukiah and Willits and around Covelo last week. And now they're forecasting another round of dry lightning for the coming days...

I live in Danville and can't see Mount Diablo. Wildfires can blow me.

Seems like yesterday was the worst down here in SJ. About 4p.m., went outside and couldn't see more than about 2, maybe 3 miles max. Could barely see the tops of the hills about 2 miles away.

And yet, people still toss stogies out, even when they're near dry brush. Guess they didn't get the memo.

My buddy is with the sherrif's office up there and he said the firefighters are now reporting possible arson.
I didn't mean "all" the fires are arson.

If it rains, wont the sulfur/ash particles create an 'acid rain'? If so, I vote for no rain, but yes on lotsa wind from the west.

up here it looks like its been foggy for about 3 days. I used to be able to see the mountains from my house but now i cant see much of anything. luckily the smoke isnt that thick near us, the nearest fire in mendo or lake county is pretty far

either way its ****ty.. looking at the sun during sunset looks like the end of the world.
The sunset was NUTZ last night. Yeah up here in the santa rosa area it is hella bad. i work in Corte mAdera right now and it definietly gets worse the more north you go. I think my car is having trouble breathing, but im ok.

i must say my 0-60 is way slower up here than down in marin. its been awesome on the gas mileage too.

thats is why the car has been under the car cover every night. I would put it in the garage but i got a project in there. i hope if it does rain i will have her back in the garage by then. I hope though for the firefighters sake they maybe get a little rain and a lot less wind, at least til its out.

my waterproof car cover should be here tomorrow! water-based paint and acid rain don't sound like a good combination.
