Its all from the fires in the sierras I believe.

Anyway, here in Reno its downright unhealthy. Normally I can see probably 30 miles from my office window (all the way to the sierras). Today, I can probably only see about 2-3 miles. Its awful.

Your visibility is actually a bit worse than that. Had dinner last night with a buddy who works in air traffic control at SJC. He mentioned that visibility was down to only 4 miles at SJC, and under 2 miles at RNO yesterday!

Yeah, I'd believe it. Damn.

Its bad when I can barely see the mountain that's usually right in front of my face. I'm used to the sierras disappearing when there is a wildfire, but damn, to not even be able to see the mountain a few miles away... its kinda scary.

im in vacaville which is like 5 miles from the twin sisters fire. Over 4000 acres burnt, needless to say my lungs are dead right now.

weak.

either way its ****ty.. looking at the sun during sunset looks like the end of the world.
