Can anyone save the life of this cat?
Wow, quite a story! I really hope the guy finds a home. I can't really help myself, living on the other side of the country and already having two cats (lease limit is 2). I really would like to see this resolved. I know exactly how you feel not wanting to see this one go to a shelter, as both of my cats were rescues. One especially so (kitten in a storm drain, needed fire dept to lift the 400 lb grate). Is there any way to confine him to a different part of the house away from the dog? Also, try craigslist and every other place you can think of to post this cat online for adoption. Hopefully someone can take him... I'd be thrown out of my house if I did.
Bump for a handsome cat.
Is he friendly with dogs?
My aunt used to have a battalion of cats when we were still in the Philippines. I'll bring this up with her tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath -- she IS very superstitious, and she already has a dog.
I'd love to take him, but the gf/wife will kick me out if I do =/

Daniel, I'm going to be out of town all January (pretty much), but if you still have him come Feb I can foster him until you find him a permanent home. I know it's a long time from now, but I wanted to let you know just in case.

Man, I don't know how I missed this response (I'm subscribed to it but it didn't notify of any new posts)
I'm near the east bay, in Fremont most of the time, so about 2 hours or so from SAC. We can def work something out if you're interested, hell, we drove all the way to Los Angeles on Thanksgiving day in order to get him before he was sent to the pound. (Actually, my wife and her cousin drove to LA on a whims notice so they could rescue him). Driving up to Sac will pale in comparison to driving 14+ hours straight.

Please guys, I really need to find him a home! Please consider it, think about how great you would feel after knowing that you saved the life of a cat? He has a life too and is a great cat, it would be so messed up if his life had to be taken from him like he's some worthless insect... Please guys, help me him out, he needs you!
